What is it like to be an LBQ woman in a patriarchal world? International women’s day is coming up, a day to celebrate women for standing up and doing what they do to inspire change in their own communities and a day to campaign for equal rights for women internationally.

There are so many challenges facing LBQ women, such as discrimination, violence and invisibility this week we will be paying homage to myriad of queer women with their outstanding work; as part of the larger effort to advance the rights of women particularly Lesbian,Bisexual and Queer women. Our Director; Ms. Don Catherine, we recognize her for always being on the forefront inspiring LBQ women and advocating for equality, Inclusion and justice.

The International Women’s Day 2019 campaign theme of #BalanceforBetter is a call-to-action for driving gender balance across the world. How will you help make a difference?
