Reproductive Health Taskforce
We are excited to share that we recently brought together a group of dedicated professionals from different fields to form a new task force focused on strengthening our work in reproductive health and rights. What stood out most in this first meeting was the energy and commitment each member brought — everyone was eager to share ideas, listen to one another, and collaborate towards a common goal. This spirit of teamwork gives us confidence that together we can build stronger strategies and solutions that truly reflect the needs of our communities.
This task force is part of our bigger journey of creating genuine community buy-in, because we know that meaningful change only happens when people feel ownership and are part of the process. It also reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring that LBQT persons in Kisumu County are not left behind, and that their sexual and reproductive health rights are recognised and protected. By working collectively, we are laying the foundation for advocacy that can shift policies, challenge stigma, and open up access to care for everyone.
