Community-led advocacy partnerships in Africa
Today, we had the immense honour of hosting representatives from the African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF), Equality Fund, and FCDO UK at our offices. Our conversations delved into the intersections of community-led advocacy partnerships in Africa, regional and international advocacy, with a keen focus on how flexible, feminist, and community-rooted funding models can support transformative social justice work.
We shared insights from our on-the-ground programs and how we bridge grassroots activism with policy-level influence — a synergy made possible through intentional partnerships, intersectional approaches, and a deep commitment to collective movement building.
This visit was not only a moment of reflection and exchange, but a reaffirmation that sustainable change is most powerful when built through trust, shared values, and bold collaboration.
We remain committed to co-creating spaces of impact and welcome aligned partnerships that value collaboration, innovation, and the lived realities of communities at the forefront.
